i still am unsure of what the last part means, about the contacts between IPs and Surrogates???
The only certain thing is that India will see MUCH less foreigners and Thailand will be the preferred
country of choice for Surrogacy.
Because what some people in Government don't seem to understand either because they have not experienced obstacles in their lives or they are just that dumb. Is that the desire to be a parent is so overwhelming that when you have that feeling, the Intended Parent WILL travel to the ends of the earth to make it happen.
So true. It's a shame that this has come to this point. Still hopeful that clinics and surrogates can get together and put up a good fight. But, I think Thailand poses a great opportunity also, just going to have to be careful in selection of clinics and agents. They've been doing surrogacy there for a while, but not on the scale that is anticipated, so we might experience some growing pains along the way. I know everyone is desperate, and no one wants to be on hold for their families, but we don't want to see the same thing happen in Thailand as in India, so exercise caution before jumping in with both feet. I know I am!
